Dr Zbigniew Jackowiak is a specialist in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal trauma who has focused his clinical practice on foot and ankle surgery for more than 20 years. He is among the doctors who have helped develop modern foot surgery in Poland, particularly minimally invasive techniques and reconstructive procedures aimed at precise deformity correction and the fastest possible return to function.
In his clinical work, he places particular emphasis on biomechanical analysis of the foot and individual treatment planning. He uses minimally invasive and percutaneous surgical techniques to reduce tissue trauma and shorten the return to activity. He has performed more than 20,000 foot and ankle operations, including simultaneous surgery on both feet, which can shorten the overall treatment process and enable an earlier return to everyday activities.
He graduated from Poznań University of Medical Sciences. He gained professional experience at the Regional Hospital on Juraszów Street in Poznań and through many years of treating orthopaedic and sports patients, including Lech Poznań players.
Dr Jackowiak was one of the first doctors in Poland to introduce standing CT scans into orthopaedic diagnostics, allowing more accurate assessment of foot biomechanics and deformities under natural weight-bearing conditions. An important part of his treatment approach is modern pain management based on individually tailored medication and perioperative procedures that reduce postoperative symptoms and improve patient comfort during hospitalisation and recovery.
He actively participates in international training courses and conferences of the European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS), and systematically applies current knowledge to his surgical practice.
As founder and Director of Halluxmed Hospital, he created a specialised orthopaedic centre integrating diagnostics, surgery and postoperative care into a single treatment pathway. Under his leadership, Halluxmed has developed into one of Poland's most specialised foot surgery centres, supported by a stable medical team and modern diagnostic facilities.

Under the guidance of Professor Marek Napiontek, surgeon Dr Zbigniew Jackowiak took part in the 27th annual meeting of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society.
Certified surgeon Zbigniew Jackowiak earned 18 CME credits and 40 PTOiTr credits at the 38th scientific congress of the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, to support non-surgical treatment of foot conditions in patients.

9th International Foot and Ankle Surgery meeting
A certificate of participation in a course on foot and knee ligament reconstruction at the Sint Maartens Hospital in the Netherlands. During the seven-day course, the doctor trained in Achilles tendon rupture reconstruction and tenotomy.

The 7th ICRS World Congress in Warsaw was one of the most important training events attended by surgeon Zbigniew Jackowiak. The congress covered treatment of degenerative changes in the joints of the foot, making it a key course in his career.
The scientific congress of the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Traumatology was one of the longer courses Dr Zbigniew Jackowiak attended. It lasted 21 hours, during which he refined his knowledge of trauma orthopaedics.

Throughout his career, surgeon Zbigniew Jackowiak has completed hundreds of hours of specialist EACCME-accredited courses, including the 15th EFAS Instructional Course in Porto, where he earned 12 credits.
In 2007, surgeon Zbigniew Jackowiak attended a scientific congress on wound treatment to develop postoperative care methods following surgery for hallux valgus and bunionette deformities.
The EFAS Advanced Symposium in Italy was one of dozens of training events at which Dr Zbigniew Jackowiak improved his skills in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, completing the maximum number of training hours.
Under the supervision of Professor Marek Napiontek, surgeon Zbigniew Jackowiak earned a further 14 credits for attending the second meeting on foot and ankle surgery.
Throughout his career, surgeon Zbigniew Jackowiak has completed many EACCME-accredited courses. This was another, in Dublin, where he was awarded a further nine CME credits.
