MD, PhD Robert Spławski is a specialist in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal traumatology. He has been practising since 1998 and specialises in treating diseases and injuries of the upper limb, from hand surgery and microsurgery to shoulder and elbow conditions.
His practice focuses on diseases and injuries of the upper limb, including the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and fingers. In hand surgery and microsurgery, he treats congenital defects, peripheral nerve compression syndromes, sports injuries, Dupuytren’s contracture and degenerative conditions. In shoulder surgery, he performs arthroscopic procedures, ligament reconstructions and treatment of articular cartilage injuries. He uses minimally invasive techniques that reduce surgical trauma and shorten recovery. Periarticular injections for overuse and degenerative conditions complement his treatment options.
He graduated from the Karol Marcinkowski Medical Academy in Poznań, where he also obtained his doctoral degree in medical sciences. He gained many years of clinical experience at renowned orthopaedic centres, treating both physically active patients and people with chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
In treating patients, he follows current global standards of orthopaedic care, including modern ligament reconstruction methods, treatment of articular cartilage injuries and tissue regeneration procedures.
